New Zealand Certified Products

All reinforcing products that are used in engineered applications in New Zealand are required to be manufactured in ACRS accredited mills (Australasian Certification Authority for Reinforcing and Structural Steels).

In addition to the above, our products carry the following certifications:

Reinforcing Bar: High tensile, high ductility micro-alloyed Grade 500E and Grade 300E reinforcing bar according to the AS/NZS 4671 standard. 

Bar Chairs: Meets the AS/NZS 2425:2015 standards for reinforced concrete which specifies that bar chairs must exceed point load testing of 60kg.

Seismic Mesh: High tensile, high ductility micro-alloyed Grade 500E as per AS/NZS 4671:2001. Also complies with NZS 3604 in terms of mass / m2. Please note that non-seismic mesh (for example yard mesh) in New Zealand does not carry any official certification.

Safety End Caps: Meets the OSHA - 344.90 impalement protection specifications and testing criteria.
