Independent OPUS laboratory tests confirm that Mastermix RTU Concrete Mix exceeds 20MPa after 7 days and 30MPa after 28 days. It meets and exceeds NZ Standards 3109: Concrete Construction and 3101:2006: Concrete Structures, ensuring reliable performance for all types of construction and repair projects.

Packaging, Coverage, and Shelf Life
Mastermix RTU Concrete Mix is packaged in 20kg weatherproof bags with a 3-month shelf life when stored in cool, dry conditions. Each bag yields approximately 0.012m³, covering about 1.00m x 300mm x 40mm, giving you precise control over project quantities.
Mixing and Curing Instructions
Mix thoroughly with 3.0L of clean potable water per 20kg bag until a smooth, buttery consistency is achieved. Do not pour water separately into post holes before mixing. For best results, use at ambient temperatures between 7°C and 25°C.

Shipping
Reinforcing / Mesh Deliveries
Our shipping calculator at our checkout page is set to calculate the delivery cost for a full 8 Tonne load delivered to the Auckland and Christchurch area (within 30km). For any other regions or if you have a smaller load, please request a delivery quote through our Request Quote / Invoice page.
All reinforcing products will usually ship out within 2-3 business days (see below for urgent orders). Links, Stirrups, Corner Bars & Starter Bars (if not in stock) might only be shipped within 2-5 days to allow for the bars to be cut and bent, depending on the workload of our manufacturers.
All our Reinforcing / Mesh deliveries are usually made via flat deck truck to our Customers' business or construction site. Small orders can be offloaded by hand. For larger orders our Customers need to provide a forklift / crane / digger / manitou to offload at site - alternatively please contact us if Hiab truck delivery is required.
Fencing, Waratahs & Barriers
Our shipping calculator at our checkout page is set to calculate the delivery cost for a truck load delivered to the Auckland and Christchurch area (within 30km). For any other regions or if you have a smaller load, please request a delivery quote through our Request Quote / Invoice page.
Machinery (compactors / saws / concrete mixers /etc.)
We aim to ship out all orders the next business day after receiving payment.
We can provide a custom quote to deliver your order to your business address - please request a delivery quote through our Request Quote / Invoice page.
Alternatively our shipping calculator at our checkout page will calculate the cost to deliver your order to your closest Mainstream / Mainfreight Depot and must be collected within 3 working days after reaching the Depot.
Combined Orders
When ordering multiple products from different product categories (for example Reinforcing Bar and Plate Compactors) you may see combined / different shipping rates during the checkout process. Due to the different shipping methods used by some of our suppliers, we might not always be able to ship different categories of products together (for example Reinforcing Bar and Plate Compactors) on the same day. If you encounter an error message during the checkout process when calculating shipping costs, please try to order the products separately or alternatively please flick us a quick message via our online chat or e-mail support@buildquip.co.nz for a shipping quote.
Order Confirmation
As soon as we receive your order we automatically check to confirm that your order is in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment we will process the charges and get to work preparing your order for shipment.
If your order is not available for immediate shipment, then we won't charge your card and we'll reach out to you via e-mail to find out if you'd be happy to wait a few days or if your order requires to be processed urgently. We pride ourselves in our top level communication and customer service!
Order Shipment
If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card it will ship within 1-2 business days from the date of payment for your order. We will send you shipping confirmation within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out. If you do not receive shipping confirmation from us within 2-3 business days of your order feel free to follow up with us at support@buildquip.co.nz.
Damages
Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery or do not agree to accept the delivery. If you do accept delivery you are required to immediately take photos using your smart phone or camera of the damaged packaging or products inside the packaging. If your item(s) do arrived damaged please send photos to support@buildquip.co.nz then visit our Easy Returns page and lodge your return claim online.
